Presidential comedy

Some love him, some despise him . Some think he is trying to convert the United States into a European style socialist state (treasonous apparently). Others think he is the second coming. Either way, surely all can agree, the man has class. Watch him performing below at the White House Correspondents' Association dinner in Washington DC on Saturday night last.

Um, Ted, laughing at Wanda Syke's "jokes" about Rush Limbaugh dying of kidney failure is not the sign of a class act. Laughing when Syke's compared Dick Cheney to a child molester is not a sign of class.

Traditionally, these dinners are for the President to make fun of himself and his people. Never before were critics of the administration targeted with such vicious and crude attacks.

I disagree. And I am surprised that a man like yourself who can't stand political correctness is making an issue of this. I admire this event and I love American political comedy. I thought the stranger (not child molester) Dick Cheney joke was hilarious as was the Rush Limbaugh joke. Robert, you do have and will have lots of ammunition with which to criticize the President over the next three and a half years. So when you do so, I suggest you pick something better than this.
