Yom Hashoa

You must watch this extraordinary video from a Tel Aviv highway. It is from the 2nd of May, Yom Hashoa day, the day that the Israeli nation officially remembers the six million Jews murdered by the Nazis and their allies. Watch as the drivers stop and stand to attention during the haunting sound of the siren.

Thanks for this. The diligence shown by Israeli citizens on the national memorial days is really something.

Today there will be events commemorating the expulsion and exodus of the 860,000-1,000,000 Jews from Muslim lands. I shall be at London's largest commemoration event tonight. We will hear testimonies from several surviving refugees and commentator Tom Gross will be handing out awards to people who rescued or aided Jews in Muslim lands at times of danger. I will hopefully have details and pictures on my blog soon.

Amazing how these illegal settlers want the world to weep for something that 'happened' over 60 yrs ago and all the while in the present day they perpetrate their own Shoah upon the Palestinians.

Weep, never - we look forward to the day when neither stone nor tree will shelter those opportunist thieves from the justice they deserve.

Systemworks - there were no expulsions! Based on promises by the then Jewish leadership in Occupied Palestine, thousands of Jews voluntarily left Muslim lands (lands they had previously sought shelter in to avoid Christian persecution)and systematically wiped out, expelled and massacred Palestinians who didn't accept the alleged 'divine' right (claimed by the Jews) to Palestianian land. Muslims understand and know the trecherous nature of those 'people all too well.
